A Modern Identity Rooted in Tradition

Kindred Spirit, a Dubai-based wellness brand, sought a refreshed visual identity that could reflect its spiritual essence while appealing to a modern audience. The goal was to move away from predictable minimalism and instead embrace a richer, more expressive visual language - one that felt both grounded in tradition and alive with contemporary energy. The brief included a full rebrand with a design system as well as an e-commerce website built in Shopify.

The core challenge was to create a brand identity that felt modern without relying on the typical minimalist approach. The brand needed to embrace color, symbolism, and visual depth without becoming overwhelming or losing cohesion. Striking this balance required a system that could handle complexity - multiple colors, ornamental elements, and layered visuals - while still feeling intentional and refined. The identity had to celebrate abundance and spirituality, yet remain accessible and visually consistent across applications.
